The theme for this year's conference was ''Become the Trusted Partner.'' In order to succeed in any industry, we need to assess the quality of relationships across organizations from all aspects, starting with leaders all the way to the customers.
In spirit of this theme, this year’s agenda covered 3 key areas:
Customer and commercial excellence - Focus was on the journey towards a patient-centric sales force and global launch excellence. Stakeholders also spoke about developing commercial change management in order to transform a business towards customer-centricity.
Engagement strategy - Leaders discussed the evolution of multichannel marketing, seeing it move from multi-channel to multi-journey as well as designing a successful customer-centric multichannel solution. Other insights included building a dynamic and adaptable workforce through training and restructure and organizing teams to embrace multichannel strategies.
Patient engagement - Topics included measuring patient experiences and impact, as well as next generation business models and strategies. Formulating win-wins by positively impacting patients and improving your bottom line through cross-functional collaboration was another interesting element.
This year's conference had the most senior and influential speaker faculty in the conference's 14-year history. It was insightful and engaging being a part of these discussions and learning how the industry is evolving with the customer at its focus.
We were proud to be a supporting sponsor of the event and hope to continue building trust in our partnerships with leaders in the pharmaceutical industry to help their teams achieve business impact and excellence.
